Icy rain greeted me this morning and we’re losing hope for having a white Christmas for Leah
(who has never had one!). There is still a tiny chance for at least a few flakes, so we will see. It’s
very nice to have Josh and Leah here after a year apart!
We had our family get together yesterday. Mom started out very agitated, but finally shook the
attitude and had as much fun as anyone. It was generally enjoyable for me as well, even though I
was totally wrong concerning my brother reconsidering kicking us out.In his huge generosity, he is giving me some time before I have to be out.
.
My sister, who sits in full agreement about making us move, became very concerned about my plan to go back to
the beach. So she wants to make my life hard, but have me consider her feelings above my own.
I do feel it would be wrong to take Mom away from my sister. Now I must force myself to consider all the facts,
ignoring the injustices done to me, and come up with a fair and good decision for all involved. I pray whatever I do
will glorify the Lord and that I will not seek revenge or move forward with malice.
At times like these I wish the Lord would write my instructions on a paper airplane and sail it down to me. Of course,
I have His instructions on a broader scale already and I’m sure the answer is there.
I only have three more days with Josh and Leah, so I hope we can do something fun together. I will be taking Mom
to daycare a couple of times while they’re here. We might go see the new Tom Hanks movie, Catch Me if You Can.
I think Chris will be off work and able to go with us. I love doing things with my entire family! Who knows, I might
even spring for popcorn. *smile*
Mom's special clothes finally arrived. One more aid in the
carpet wars. I have also been giving her 1/2 Immodium tablet every other day or so. Looks like I may have
conquered the most pressing problem of the moment. Go me.
Psalm 11:4 ¶ The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold,
his eyelids try, the children of men.
