Aunt Peggy enjoyed her visit with Mom, once she finally found Facility. I didn’t see any recognition in Mom’s eyes at all, though. As we all stood together, I said, “Mom, it’s Peggy.”

“Peggy?” Mom’s voice grew excited.

She knew the name, but not the person. Even so, she happily traipsed around Facility with us following along. She patted her sister a little bit and liked being with her, but I’m pretty sure she didn’t know her at all.

Josh, on the other hand, was a different story. While Josh was mowing the yard for me (isn’t he sweet?) on Saturday, I went and picked up Mom and brought her home. She came inside and looked at Josh. She had a blank look for a few seconds, then suddenly her face lit up broke into a big grin. She grabbed him and hugged him. She definitely recognized his face, although I’m sure she didn’t know that was her grandson. She paid him a good deal of attention, with hugging, petting, and the like.

This morning I got to go to church with both of my sons. I love doing that. It just feels so right. Memories of little boys with their heads leaned up against me during the sermon flooded my mind. I knew I should make them sit up straight, but it felt too good. So I didn’t. I hope they have lots of the same memories. Most of all I hope they will follow after the Lord.

So Josh. He arrived Friday evening shortly after Chris got back from the beach and we’ve been enjoying him ever since. I am taking my very first day off (other than the regularly scheduled ones) since I started working at The Secret Place. I have to go back to work tomorrow, but Chris will be off Monday - Wednesday, so Josh won’t get lonesome. He and Leah have unlimited calls on their cellphone package, so they get to speak often, too. Right now he’s cooking dinner for me. *smile* He has beaten me twice at Yahtzee. I guess I need to practice my dice throwing technique. I love having him here with us!

Psalm 72:4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
