Someone who loves me very much suggested to me that I not talk about stuff like I did
here, because it makes me seem like a psycho. Heh. I’m aware that different things that
have happened to me in my life are so incredible that I sound like a raving maniac when I speak of them. It all fits
in nicely with my belief that God has a great sense of humor.
Everything I said there was true. Yes, I agree it sounds crazy if you’ve never given it any thought before, but when
you ponder it a bit, it all makes sense.
From a Christian point of view this is backed up by scripture.
Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this
condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the
only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Notice the word ‘ unawares’. That means folks are not aware of it.
Matthew 10:16 ¶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise
as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Sheep in the midst of wolves.... this is no joke, it’s a serious warning. In fact, we’re warned all through the Bible to
be grounded in the Word, that we may stand fast and not be deceived.
Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with
every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to
deceive...
If you’re not a Christian, think about things we know as a fact already. We see day care workers arrested for
abusing the children, we hear of priests who have been raping altar boys, boy scout leaders who molest their troops,
and on and on. It makes perfect sense that these types of things extend into what are commonly believed to be
Christian churches. We know of men who have seemed like the perfect husband who have plotted to kill their
wives for the insurance money (and vice versa). We read about preachers who are caught with prostitutes and
mistresses and have illegitimate children. Don’t forget the womanizer congressman with the missing girlfriend.
The bottom line is people are not always what they present themselves to be.
I was deceived by some of said people. Nuff said.
I am not a psycho (said in my best Nixon voice with both hands extended in victory signs)!

“I found her on the floor this morning when I woke up. Her leg was at a funny angle and she couldn’t stand up.”
Carole was understandably quite shaken as she told me about her mom’s broken hip. Christine had surgery at 8:30
this morning. I’m still waiting for a report on how it went. My heart goes out to both of them. Poor Christine was
having a hard time trying to walk before this happened and I doubt she’ll ever walk again. I wonder if she’ll ever
be able to go back home.

I got a letter from Sears today telling me they had upped my credit limit to $10, 000.00. That is amazing to me.
No one else has ever given me anywhere near that amount. Also, I don’t think I have ever had a monthly bill over
$200.00 since I had the card. But for some reason they think I now need $10, 000.00. What in the world does Sears
sell anyway? I’m sure I haven’t spent that much at Sears in my entire life. I’m onto them, though. I know their
scam. They let you charge $10,000.00 and encourage you to pay $10.00 payments. That way when you’re finished
paying it off, they’ve received $500,000.00 from you for a riding mower, a laptop computer, and your daughter’s prom dress.
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they
have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
