My new shift started on Sunday and so far I am lovin’ it! I am downright giddy when I punch the clock at 10 P.M. to go home. I have also been able to fall asleep much easier than was anticipated and for the last two nights have been asleep by 2 A.M. So, general first impressions = YEHAW!

My Aunt Peggy called the other night to let me know she was coming through town and would like to stop by to see Mom (her sister) and me. She is supposed to call me tomorrow morning and I will meet her at Facility for an hour or so with Mom. I think Mom will be absolutely thrilled. I believe Mom will recognize her face, even if she doesn’t recall the familial relationship. I’m looking forward to it.

Chris has gone to the beach AGAIN. Since he works 4 days a week, he gets more opportunities to head out of town. He also took a couple of vacation days this week. He will get back home on Friday, the same day Josh arrives. I am so excited! *turning flips*

I’m also planning to go to the beach for a vacation at the end of the month. I’ll be glad to see my old friends. Well, some of them aren’t THAT old, but... old enough to know better.

I have to get ready for work!

Psalm 146:5 ¶ Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God.
