Recently I have been re-reading Hind’s Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard. It’s an allegory and is similar to
Pilgrim’s Progress, but I like it even better! I seem to identify rather significantly with the story’s main character,
Much-Afraid. One thing I am reminded of in this book is to cry out for the Lord and He will come. Seems silly that
I would forget something so basic, but I need constant reminders of even the simplest truths. I get so tangled up
with this life, that my eyes become fixed on things of the world. Shameful, I know. But true all the same.
One thing that really bothers me is how full the churches are of evil men (and women). We got fair warning that
this was to be, but it is still hard for me to stomach.
Matthew 7:15 ¶ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly
they are ravening wolves.
Christian’s have all read this verse and the others like it, but it doesn’t really hit home. We somehow think that
*we* know another Christian when we see one. One oft misquoted verse to support this very false assumption is
Romans 8:16 - The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God...
Notice this is actually referring to the Holy Spirit bearing witness with our spirit, telling us we are
God’s children. It says nothing about our spirits connecting with another Christian’s. I am here to
tell you that the only way to know if someone else is a Christian is for the Lord to tell you. Why in the world
am I bringing this up, you ask. I guess it’s because some of my best “Christian” friends have
turned out not to be Christians at all. They are part of some New World Order satanic thing. There are many
pastors, deacons, elders, Sunday School teachers, and even missionaries involved. There are lots of other people
involved, as well, but it’s the Pretenders Feigning Christianity that really get to me. I believe there will be entire
churches totally untouched by the rapture. Pastor still there, all the deacons and teachers and pew warmers.
Everyone present on the Sunday after the rapture.
Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy
name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And
then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Revelation 2:2-5 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not
bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and
hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured,
and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first
love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else
I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place...
Here again we are warned this is to be, but it just soars over our heads.
Revelation 2:9-11 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know
the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Fear
none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison,
that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will
give thee a crown of life. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;
He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
We are living in dangerous times. I beseech you to run to the Lord and stay close to Him. Jesus is the believer’s
Brother and Friend, as well as Saviour. Christian friend, if you have become complacent in your life, living
sinfully and thinking it really doesn’t matter; I beg you to repent now and live a life holy and consecrated to God.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by
him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Do you have an ear?
Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the
valley of decision.
