Josh met Leah in Dallas for a long weekend and they had a happy reunion. They went shopping in a 4 story mall, Leah bought something from Macy’s, and they went to a MLB game (the Rangers Vs Minnesota). They got there early and were able to get autographs from Tori Hunter and Eddie Guardado.

Now Leah is back in school and Josh is back in Florida. He started a temporary job cooking for Applebee’s to pass the time while they wait to see where Leah will be stationed.

Speaking of Leah, she tested for Staff Sergeant and made it her first time! I am so impressed! It’s extremely difficult to sew on that stripe so quickly. Go Leah!

Lovely Leah

Chris is going to be in a wedding tomorrow. Fortunately it’s not HIS wedding. *smile* He rented a tux and I can hardly wait to see him in it. I’ll definitely take some pictures.

Mom and I had a nice visit today. I picked her up and we went through the drive-thru at Mickey Dee’s and got ice cream cones. Then we came to my house and explored the backyard for a while and chatted with my sweet neighbor. We came inside and Chris tormented her for a while. She started pacing and trying to get out, so I took her back. Her feet are getting better and she now wears the men’s high top Reebok’s I bought her several months ago. She never once said a word about her feet hurting today, nor did she try to get the shoes off. What a gracious answer to prayer, even though I prayed not really believing. God is so good.

Ephesians 3:20 - 21 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
