This was the second Sunday in a row I didn't get to see Mom. I called ahead and was told," We still have the hold on visitors. Everyone is mostly well, but there may be a couple of germs floating around in the air, so it will be a couple more days."

I made arrangements to pick Mom up and take her out, without going in. As soon as I hung up the phone, the sky broke open and we had torrential downpours on and off all afternoon. Since there is no way I could take Mom out in that, we didn't go. This is the longest I've gone without seeing Mom since I started caring for her so many years ago.

I WILL see her this week. I hope.

Tomorrow is a big day for me.

I have purposely avoided mentioning Josh very much because he is going through a very bad time in his life. When people are going through a hard time, I figure their story is not mine to tell. However, I'm going to go ahead and tell at least part of Josh's story, as it will be directly effecting my life.

Josh and Leah got divorced. Leah separated from the USAF and moved back to her hometown. After an extremely rough few months, Josh is coming home to live with me for a while. Of course, there is lots more to it than that, but suffice it to say that the next few months will probably be very difficult for Josh. He will be busy trying to get his life back on track. Please pray for all involved.

The birdie is flying back to the nest.

I'm thrilled to be getting an opportunity to spend lots of time with Josh; just sad it has to be under such heart breaking circumstances. I do trust that the Lord has a tremendous amount of learning and growth in store for both of us.

Chris is picking Josh up in Greensboro tomorrow around noon. He took the night off work. I think I'll take off Tuesday, so I can spend the evening with Josh. I don't want him to be all alone the first couple of days. He'll probably end up spending Monday night with Chris.

Just for fun:

Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
